Privacy Policy
Shakespearean Insults for Android (com.pepeapps.insults), by Peeps Apps.
Effective October 10, 2026.
The short version
The app itself does not ask for, collect, or store any personal information. There are no accounts and no sign-in. Insults are generated on your device.
The app shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google collects some data to show and measure those ads, as described below.
What the app does with your data
- Insults are picked at random on your device. They are not sent anywhere.
- Sharing: when you tap Share, the insult text goes to the app you choose through Android's standard share sheet. We never see it.
- We do not run our own servers for the app, and we do not sell any data.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows a banner ad served by Google AdMob. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google's software in the app may collect:
- Device or other identifiers, such as your device's advertising ID
- Approximate location, derived from your IP address
- App activity, such as ad views and taps
- App diagnostics, such as crash and performance information
Google handles this data under its own policies:
How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services
and the Google Privacy Policy.
Your choices
- EU, UK and similar regions: the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before showing ads. You can change your choice at any time with the Privacy settings button in the app.
- Personalized ads: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your phone's Settings under Google > Ads (the exact path varies by device).
- Uninstalling the app stops all collection by the app.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
